IVANHOE RESIDENTS

Please remember you must have a current sticker displayed on your vehicle to use the parks and lakes in Ivanhoe. Sticker fee's are $5 per vehicle and you must be a "member in good standing" (maintenance fee's paid up). Stickers are available at the IPOIA office during the summer months on Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Please remember, if you do not have a current sticker you will be asked to leave the parks, swim areas and lakes. Also, please remember, NO DOGS are allowed in the swim areas and if you do bring your dogs to the parks they must be on a lease. Glass containers have also been a big problem this year. We ask that you do not bring them in the parks but if you do, please do not throw them into the swim areas.

Hi,
I haven't heard anything mentioned on the blog about fireworks. At the risk of asking a stupid question, I'd just like to confirm... Is it safe to assume we will not be having fireworks this year? I love fireworks as much as anyone, but I love my home more. :)
Maybe a sign at the Ivanhoe entrance reminding everyone of the fireworks ban in Tyler County.
Stay safe everyone!

I had heard that Tyler Co. put a ban on sale and use of fireworks and there is a ban on use of fireworks in Ivanhoe by individuals. Haven't heard if fireworks display for July 3rd is still on. Will post as soon as I get some info.
