A SLIDING GATE WITH KEY LOCK HAS BEEN INSTALLED AT THE BOAT RAMP LOCATED AT THE COMMUNITY CENTER PARKING LOT.  IF YOU CURRENTLY HAVE A KEY THAT FITS THE GATES AT GALAHAD AND TRISTAN IT WILL FIT THIS LOCK.  If you do not have a key, one may be purchased for $5 at the IPOIA office.  Only one per family will be issued.  The gate must be locked once you launch your boat.  As of this date only trolling motors are allowed.

When are we going to stop draining the lake so it can spill over on its own ??? What can they do take your birthday away ??? Who will go to prison if you get a fine and not pay it ? Who would monitor the level if the doors were chained closed over there ?

I think IPOIA should pay all the park and lake fees and the keys and stickers for everyone since they are so willing to drain out the lakes. They should have been spilling over long ago.

Note to Anonymous......I don't know how I could say this any plainer so please read slowly....The "City" who is in charge of the Dams was ordered by TCEQ a government agency to open the valve. There is a letter available for YOU to read at the city office if you would like to understand why the valve is open. The IPOIA has the responsibility of the PARKS and LAKES ONLY. I sure would like to meet you at some point "Anonymous" and try to understand why you have such a negative attitude. I hope your New Year is a happy one!

The rain is gone and we are still draining the lake, I read the letter and it said to release surface water which would be spill over water. if the Lake dries up again I will build a privacy fence on my part of the lake lake and install a swimming pool.
