Due to drought conditions there is ZERO Tolerance if you decide to light up that pile of dry brush. I think our fire department would also agree that it is not a good idea to even burn in a barrell at this time. Recently one resident started a fire in his burning barrell and left to later find out that sparks had started a fire on the adjacent lot. YOU WILL BE FINED if you fail to observe the Burn Ban.

I would like to make a suggestion, if residents cannot burn and they have large fire hazzards pileing up in their yards, I think Ivanhoe should look around and maybe designate and area to drop off burnables to get it away from peoples homes or even charge 20.00 a trailor load which could go to the park funds ?????
Hi,
That would be nice! But, meanwhile, can you tell me where the local dump is and approximately what the cost of using it is?
